Alhamdulillah. A significant milestone in cardiovascular education was marked at the Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology (FIC) with the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the academic initiative 360 Cardiology – From Prevention to Intervention.

A joint academic platform for doctors

The programme brings together the Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology, Lyallpur Diabetes Foundation (LDF) and Tabros Pharma. It establishes a comprehensive academic platform to strengthen cardiovascular knowledge and clinical skills among doctors.

It is designed for general practitioners and for doctors from all medical specialties who wish to deepen their understanding of cardiology — from prevention, early recognition and risk-factor management through to modern diagnostic and interventional care.

Why this matters to LDF

Education remains one of the Foundation’s core pillars. Continuous medical education helps clinicians improve prevention, early diagnosis, comprehensive management and long-term outcomes for people living with cardiovascular and metabolic disease.

Dr Ahmad Shahzad and Dr Ijaz Anwar represented Lyallpur Diabetes Foundation at the ceremony, reaffirming LDF’s commitment to medical education, professional development and better patient care.
