Welcome to the Diabetes Care Foundation website. As the Dean of this hospital, I am deeply committed to the vision of enhancing the quality of life for those affected by diabetes. Our mission is not just to provide treatment but to educate, support, and empower individuals in their journey with diabetes.

At the core of our efforts is a focus on public awareness. Diabetes is a condition that can often be managed or even prevented with the right knowledge. Through our workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns, we are dedicated to informing the public about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures related to diabetes. We particularly aim to reach young minds in schools and colleges, ensuring they are equipped with accurate information about this condition.

Equally important is the emotional and psychological well-being of those living with diabetes. We understand that the challenges extend beyond the physical aspects of the disease. Therefore, we offer a range of counseling services, including support groups and helplines, to provide comfort and guidance to individuals and their families.

We are proud to be a beacon of hope for the diabetes community and remain steadfast in our commitment to building a healthier future for all. I invite you to explore our website and discover how we can support you or your loved ones on the path to better health.

Transforming Lives, Building Hope: A Vision for a Diabetes-Free Tomorrow
Dear Friends, Partners, and Members of our Global Community,
Welcome to the digital home of the Lyallpur Diabetes Foundation (LDF). As I reflect on the journey that brought us here, my heart fills with a profound sense of gratitude and urgency. Diabetes is not just a medical diagnosis; it is a silent thief. It robs individuals of their vitality, drains families of their hard-earned savings, and casts a long shadow over the future of our youth. In Pakistan, and particularly within our beloved city of Faisalabad, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) like diabetes are rising at an alarming rate. Behind every statistic is a human face—a mother struggling to afford insulin, a father facing life-altering complications, or a bright student whose potential is clouded by a preventable illness.
The Lyallpur Diabetes Foundation was born out of a simple, non-negotiable belief: health is a fundamental right, not a luxury. We refused to sit by as thousands walked a painful, lonely path toward a treatable disease. Today, LDF stands as a sanctuary of hope, driven by three unbreakable pillars: Awareness, Education, and Welfare.
  1. Awareness: Protecting the Next Generation
Prevention is our strongest shield. We believe that the battle against diabetes must be fought before a patient ever walks through a clinic door. This is why our dedicated teams actively penetrate the heart of our community—conducting comprehensive awareness and screening camps across schools, colleges, and universities. By reaching out to the youth, we are uncovering hidden cases and teaching the next generation the critical value of lifestyle modification, nutrition, and early detection. If we can save a teenager from developing diabetes today, we protect an entire family's tomorrow.
  1. Education: Elevating the Standard of Care
A compassionate heart needs a highly skilled hand to deliver true healing. The second pillar of LDF focuses on empowering the backbone of our healthcare system. We conduct specialized clinical training and educational programs for doctors, nurses, and paramedics. By equipping our healthcare professionals with the latest global protocols, advanced management strategies, and empathetic patient-care skills, we ensure that every individual who seeks help receives world-class, quality treatment. We are building an army of skilled caregivers dedicated to reversing the diabetes epidemic.
  1. Welfare: The Hub-and-Spoke Model & Guardian Clinics
For those already fighting this battle, LDF is a lifelong companion. Our welfare model is built on an innovative Hub-and-Spoke network anchored by our specialized Guardian Clinics. We understand that poverty should never be a death sentence. At this very moment, 15 operational clinics are working tirelessly on the ground. We are humbled to share that more than 2,000 underprivileged patients are currently receiving free or highly subsidized, life-saving medical benefits through this project. We do not just dispense medicine; we provide a community where needy patients are treated with the dignity, respect, and deep care they deserve.
The Crown Jewel of Our Vision: The State-of-the-Art Tertiary Care Hub
While we celebrate the 2,000 lives we are currently touching, we know the need is vast. To truly shift the paradigm of diabetes care in our region, we require a permanent monument of advanced healing. I am thrilled to share a monumental milestone in our journey: the Worthy Commissioner of Faisalabad has officially approved and dispatched our request for dedicated land to the Revenue Department for final approval.
This land will become the home of our dream: a state-of-the-art Tertiary Care Diabetes Centre. Serving as the central "Hub" to our surrounding "Spoke" Guardian Clinics, this complex will host highly specialized departments designed to tackle the most severe, life-threatening complications of diabetes under one roof:
  • The Diabetic Foot & Limb Salvage Wing:A specialized unit focused on advanced wound care, vascular evaluation, and specialized footwear. Our singular goal here is to stop complications early and save our patients from life-altering amputations.
  • The Juvenile & Pediatric Diabetes Center:A warm, child-friendly environment dedicated to supporting children born with Type 1 diabetes. We will provide free insulin, specialized growth monitoring, and psychological support for young warriors and their families.
  • The Diabetic Retinopathy & Vision Protection Unit:Diabetes is a primary cause of blindness. This unit will be equipped with advanced diagnostic lasers and scanning equipment to detect retinal damage early and save the eyesight of thousands of working parents.
  • The Center for Gestational Diabetes & Maternal Health:Dedicated entirely to pregnant mothers, safeguarding both mother and unborn child from the acute risks of high blood sugar during pregnancy.
  • A Diagnostic & Research Engine:A central pathology lab and radiology suite paired with a digital data center to study local disease trends, ensuring our treatments remain cutting-edge and evidence-based.
A Sacred Call to Our Donors and Global Community
This grand vision cannot be built by one hand alone. To our philanthropists, corporate partners, overseas Pakistanis, and friends of humanity: we need you. The land is within our reach, but the bricks, the specialized medical machinery for these wings, and the sustainable care of thousands more patients rely entirely on your generosity.
When you donate to the Lyallpur Diabetes Foundation, you are not merely giving charity. You are buying a child a future free of pain. You are saving a laborer’s leg from amputation. You are saving a mother’s eyesight. This is a Sadqa-e-Jariyah—a continuous, noble cause that echoes through generations.
To our needy patients, I promise you this: you are not alone. LDF is your guardian, and we will continue to fight for your health and your smile. Together, through collective love and action, we will conquer diabetes and build a healthier, vibrant, and resilient society.
Join us in this sacred mission. Let us heal Faisalabad, one heartbeat at a time.
With deep humility and hope,
